Growler Race Registration 2026 NOW OPEN!

We hope that you are all enjoying the holiday season… Winter looks so great on Hinton!
We wanted to announce that our 9th annual ‘Growler Fat Bike Endurance Race’ 2026 registration is NOW OPEN! This event will help to kickstart Hinton’s 39th annual ‘Winter Magic Festival’ on Saturday February 7th, 2026. We would love to see you there!
Register for 1 of the 3 participant categories:
1.) Growler Endurance Race - 3 hours of endurance winter riding. Most laps of our groomed course wins!
2.) Howler Endurance Race - 1.5 hours of endurance winter riding. Most laps of our groomed course wins!
3.) Growler Team Relay Race - Register with friends in teams of 2 to 4. Keep one racer on the course at a time and add up your lap times for a cumulative team time!

Just riding for fun with friends? What better way to show this than fun costumes! Roll up with the squad and see if you and your pals can get people clapping for your costume theme.
Not interested in fat biking or racing? All good - we will also be looking for volunteers to support our mountain biking community with this event. Volunteers will be provided with 'snacks and swag' on race day to demonstrate our appreciation. Please email executivedirector@bikehinton.com if you know you are around and looking to volunteer on February 7th, 2026!
