Thank You’s - Bike Park Maintenance Night
We have such a great HMBA community!!!
We organized a volunteer maintenance night on May 6th… and our community showed up! With 27+ volunteers ready to help, we were able to log 40+ hours of maintenance work - ALL IN ONE EVENING! With clear sumps for drainage and freshly raked trails, we were then able to declare the Hinton Bike Park OPEN for the season.
Special thanks to our local Hinton Domino’s Pizza for sponsoring this event. They were kind enough to donate fresh pizza for all of our hungry volunteers, ensuring that all dietary needs were met. The gluten-free pizza offering was a big hit! As always, thank you to all our great volunteers that showed up as well.
Wondering when the next volunteer maintenance night will be? Keep following our Instagram and Facebook channels for more information!
Our Bighorn Trail network is expected to open around June 1st, but with some volunteer help (specifically raking and leaf blowing ‘Stairway to Heaven’), we can try to get the trails ready sooner! In addition, both our new MiniFlow trail in the Bike Park and the Jack’s network ‘revival’ will require ongoing volunteer efforts! Interested in volunteering with any of these projects?
