Annual General Meeting 2026

Community Announcement!!!

The Hinton Mountain Bike Association is planning our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and we would love to see you all there! We only gather as a community like this once a year, so please join us for a brief presentation on HMBA’s recent activities and future plans. Following the presentation, members will have an opportunity for a Q & A with HMBA’s 2025/26 board of directors. Finally, members will vote to confirm HMBA’s volunteer board of directors for the 2026/27 year. This year’s AGM will be held on Thursday, April 9th @ 7pm at The Old Grind.

Are you interested in volunteering with HMBA? We have a priority need for:

  • Director of Operations:
    This volunteer executive position has a vote on the HMBA board of directors and is expected to attend monthly meetings. They will collaborate with HMBA’s board of directors and Executive Director to lead new projects and ‘Annual Work Plan’ execution.

  • Membership Coordinator:
    This volunteer coordinator position collaborates with HMBA’s Executive Director to manage membership sales and delivery. This would be a great role for someone looking to get more involved with HMBA and would be supported with training from our awesome current Membership Coordinator!

  • Winter Operations Coordinator:
    The ideal candidate for this volunteer coordinator position would have previous experience safely operating off-highway vehicles like snowmobiles, Rokon utility bikes, and Snowdogs. This volunteer would be supporting winter fat bike trail grooming and would be trained and directed by HMBA’s Vice-President, Mike Meagher (HMBA’s winter operations leader).
