First Annual Hinton Growler Fat Bike Endurance Race

First Annual Hinton Growler Fat Bike Endurance Race!

The Hinton Growler is a fat bike endurance race presented by the Hinton Mountain Bike Association. It is a family friendly event during the Town of Hinton's Winter Magic Festival in February.

There will be 3 adult categories to choose from (ages 13+, mixed):
Growler (Expert Class) - 3 hours
Howler (Intermediate Class) - 1.5 hours
Pint (Novice Class) - 1.5 hours

And one children's category (ages 12 and under):
Root Beer - 1 lap on a shorter course

Complete as many laps as you can within your respective category’s time limit! 

Race course will be on groomed trails. Trophies and prizes will be handed out following the main event .

Place: Maxwell Lake ( Hinton,AB)
Time: 10:30- 4:00
Entry Fee: $20 for HMBA members, $25 for non-members
Kids 12 and under are free! - register on day of event

Preliminary event schedule:
10:30 AM- Registration Begins at Maxwell Lake
11:00 AM- Fat Bike Demo's
12:00 PM- Rider Meeting
12:15 PM- Kids Race
1:00 PM - Main Event

This is a FAT BIKE ONLY event. Tires must be 3" wide or more and studs are permitted
